THE HACKED D.J. DAN PODCAST

Breakdown of Images from D.J. Dan (Hacked) Podcast / Video 06/01/2006

The following is my breakdown and analysis of the hacked D.J. Dan podcast from 06/01/06. This may or may not be important but there was little going on “in-game” this past weekend so I thought I’d gather what information I could and present my observations here for others to review. I believe that this was supposed to be a simple podcast but was hacked by someone and turned into a video assault on D.J. Dan. The hacker may or may not have been Persephone. It bears clues that perhaps she is behind the hacking (see image of painting by Rossetti). The video/podcast is 4 minutes and 53 seconds in length and contains over 350 image repetitions using only 52 different images. The images are listed below (you’ll know them by the descriptions – you’ve seen most of them before.) I have not bothered to build a complete list of all the images in order as this can be found in different forms on many of the Lost Experience forums.

List of images (number of occurrences) and notes:

1. Text “BIG, FAT, STUPID SELL OUT.” (1)
O.K., I think we get the picture… Someone has hacked the D.J. Dan website and substituted their own form of electronic vandalism. Do we get it yet that D. J. Dan is not all he purports to be? The text messages that were inserted into this video-cast appear only once (except for the phrase “sell out” which occurs in a number of different ways.)

2. www.DJDan.am introduction page (10)
Flashing this image right behind the text above is obviously pointing to the fact that D.J. Dan is the BFS “Sell Out”, which is found here and in many subsequent images in various forms.

3. Area 51 Satellite view with notes in red ink (7)
Alvar Hanso made his fortune in weapons… was he a part of the Area 51 and Rosebud UFO incidents? There is (or has been) a lot of activity in this area but who made the notes?

4. Satellite view of facility (airport?) (3)
Also, Area 51?

5. Text “!SHUTDOWN!” from D.J. Dan website (9)

6. Male symbol (3)
Also the symbol for Mars – The Man? With the above message, “Shut down the man!”?

7. Text "fraud." (1)
Again, pointing at D.J. Dan.

8. Text "tanya isn't there." (1)
I find it interesting that Tanya here is misspelled. The original DJ Dan websites gives her name as “Tonya Jefferson.”

9. Stylized dollar symbol (33)
The dollar sign shows up many times in the video. I’m having trouble pinpointing the reason. Is D.J. Dan being paid off? The Hanso Foundation does not seem to follow this type of strategy, as they are more apt to kill then pay someone off (our newspaperman gave us this bit of information). And the dollar sign shows up with the image of young Joop a number of times. Was this a clue as to the password in the Joop text box? Or that it cost a great deal to keep Joop alive for 105 years?

10. Image of woman with an apple? in hand (1)
This image has been revealed as the painting of “Persephona” by Dante Gabriel Rossetti and the original can be found in the Tate Gallery in England. Persephone is holding a pomegranate.

11. Organ Courier page from Hansocareers website (1)
This may have something to do with the “Missing Organs” clue. We’ll keep an open mind and eye on this to see if it develops.

12. Text "wonder who pays DJ Dan's bills?" (1)
Another blatant warning that D.J. Dan is working for the MAN? I am not sure why they felt it necessary to throw this at us so many times? I wonder if perhaps the reason this is repeated so often is that we have missed an important clue and they want us to back track and look at it again so as to not miss it?

This is definitely a payoff of some type or another. But to whom?

Daimler/Chrysler rescinding of contract with the Hanso Foundation to purchase 23 Jeeps. Why did this deal go sour? Soemthing occurred that cause Daimler/Chrysler to pull out from this contract but what?

16. The Great Seal of the United States (21)
This symbol is also associated with the Illuminatus and is sometimes known as the all-seeing-eye in pyramid. This image is interspersed with the satellite image over Africa.

17. Satellite image of Earth above Africa (21)
This image is interspersed with The Great Seal of the United States above and has been reported as being centered on the Mozambique Channel near Inharrime, Mozambique.

18. Image of UFO with caption “Redbud, Illinois, April 23, 1950” (1)

The top secret file with topographical markins is dated May 20, 1967.

108 degrees takes us to the Hanso Parent Directory. I’m still waiting for the 325 degrees on this page to take us somewhere. If you recall, Henry Gale told Michael to set his boat heading to 325 degrees and he would be rescued.

23. Old? Sprite logo (10)
I’m not sure if this logo is an old one or a new one but it feels retro to me.

24. www.sublymonal.com website image (6)
This page has gone through at least three versions since the game began. The “Heir Apparent” clue site, the videos site, and now the Wikipedia connection site (lots of new submissions will work – watch the rotating televisions) which are mostly connected to entries on the Wikipedia website.

25. Stylized monster.com logo (image of monster) (8)
Other than the Hanso Careers page, do we know the connection between Hanso and Monster.com? We have seen a great deal of web pages, clues, etc. that incorporate Jeep and Sprite into the game. But where is the monster.com page that should connect to the game?

26. Green moneybag with dollar symbol (flashing) (29)
Money, money, money, money….. money!

27. Satellite map of Daimler/Chrysler plant, Ann Arbor Michigan (7)
The cross-like structure in the satellite image is that of the Chrysler building, but why all the different images of it? We know they make Jeep, but why the various images of this building? This image is always shown in progression with the following two images.

This is the Hanso Foundation “Request for Proposal” to purchase 23 new Jeeps from Daimler/Chrysler. I am not sure why they felt it necessary to throw this at us so many times? I wonder if perhaps the reason this is repeated so often is that we have missed an important clue and they want us to back track and look at it again so as to not miss it? Obviously, these documents may hold more significance then we initially gave them credit for? Why are these so prominent in the hacked video?

This looks like someone was manually trying to do the anagram for “The Mouth Piece” by connecting letters to the words.
